Located in the centre of Malta, Mdina is a hidden gem, confined within its walls; you can spend the day meandering through the small cobbled streets past the coffee shops and numerous bistros and restaurants. On entering the city, you will pass through the main gate or the Vihena Gate, an arched stone bridge, decorated by statues of lions holding coats of arms, built in the Baroque style in 1724, during the magistracy of the Grand Master, Antonio Manoel de Vihena where you can feel the history seeping through the walls.

What better place to say your vows than the roof terrace of the Olive Gardens with the most prominent feature being the magnificent views of Mdina and the surrounding countryside, giving a very serene and beautiful atmosphere to the whole venue. You and up to 80 guests can enjoy your ceremony before moving to the poolside for drinks. The interior of the Olive Gardens is both luxurious with a classic rustic feel, whereby the outside areas are perfectly manicured gardens in a tranquil setting, and will work for any wedding type. Both the exterior and interior will cater for standing receptions and seated dinners. The wedding caters for 100 guests seated indoors and 25 guests outdoors. The venue can hold up to 400 guests indoors with the upper and lower gardens catering to up to 1000 standing guests, which mean you, can either have a small intimate affair or a grand party.
