Olive Garden (Mdina)
Nested just in front of the medieval city of Mdina, in the Northern region of Malta is the Olive Gardens wedding venue. With Mdina serving as beautiful backdrop to the Olive Gardens, it’s no wonder that it is a popular wedding destination. Surrounded by vineyards and beautiful countryside, Olive Gardens is the perfect example of where to hold your wedding in Malta. Located in the centre of Malta, Mdina is a hidden gem, confined within its walls; you can spend the day meandering through the small cobbled streets past the coffee shops and numerous bistros and restaurants. On entering the city, you will pass through the main gate or the Vihena Gate, an arched stone bridge, decorated by statues of lions holding coats of arms, built in the Baroque style in 1724, during the magistracy of the Grand Master, Antonio Manoel de Vihena where you can feel the history seeping through the walls.
