What is included in an Amalfi wedding package?

No two wedding packages are the same. Many of our Amalfi venues offer several different packages, with the price being influenced by how many people you’d like to attend. Generally speaking, all packages include a UK-based wedding planner, local resort planner, exclusive use of the venue on the day plus food and drink. Speak to us about adding elements such as hair and make-up, wedding cake arrangements, and photographers.

What is the best time of year for an Amalfi Coast wedding?

The Mediterranean climate of the Amalfi Coast is favourable for most of the year; however, it does get a little busy (not to mention very hot) in June, July and August. April-May and September-October are great times for your booking as things are a little quieter, with pleasantly warm days and plenty of sunshine to enjoy.

Where is it cheaper to get married in Italy?

There’s no doubt about it, the Amalfi Coast is on the pricier side of destination weddings so, though incredibly beautiful, it is not going to be for every budget. Cheaper locations for prospective couples include Lake Garda, Lake Como and Venice weddings, where demand for venues is less competitive. 

How far in advance should we start planning our Amalfi Coast wedding?

Are there any legal requirements or paperwork for getting married on the Amalfi Coast?

Yes, certain documents will be needed for Italian weddings. All of this, our team will be more than happy to help you sort out.

Generally, you’ll need to:

• Get a Nulla Osta (or Certificate of No Impediment - CNI)
• Bring a birth certificate and valid passport (within six months)
• Declare your intent to marry at the local town hall
• Have at least two witnesses aged 18+
• Translate your documents into Italian and legalise them with an apostille stamp
• Post marriage banns

It’s important to note that religious ceremonies are not legally binding on the Amalfi Coast unless conducted alongside a civil ceremony. Some legal documents, like a Divorce Decree, are also applicable, so you must consider your personal circumstances to ensure you have everything you need.
