Ayia Napa , Cyprus
On the east coast of Cyprus, just 10 minutes from the popular Ayia Napa, is the perfect wedding destination called The Legacy! This stunning wedding venue has been purposely built to compliment any wedding style. Situated away from the tourist spot so affording total privacy for its guests, but just a short distance from the lively town of Ayia Napa, The Legacy is perfectly placed for you to choose a hotel for your honeymoon. With lots to see and do, you can spend your time soaking up the rays on the beautiful beaches, or wander around the town’s main landmark, the storied, Venetian-era Ayia Napa Monastery, and feel the history around you. Take a stroll around the harbour and visit the local tavernas offering dishes of freshly caught seafood. With plenty of bars and vibrant nightclubs, you will be able to dance late into the night, giving you honeymoon memories that will last a lifetime.
Aptly named The Legacy, this stunning wedding venue will give you a wedding day to remember. Built with the mined-set of setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable wedding, this venue really does live up to its name. Set in perfectly landscaped gardens with trees lit up with fairly lights and, with the wedding decorations to suit the wedding style of your choice, it will give you a stunning backdrop for your wedding pictures. A white Mercedes Bridal car to escort up to six people to the ceremony can be arranged, together with the bridal bouquet and button hole. After the ceremony, the staff will ensure your wedding reception runs just as smoothly, with a delicious silver buffet style menu and unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks and mineral water. A half day photography package that consists of preparation coverage, ceremony coverage, group photography and couple photography, together with a half day video, is available to capture your special moments. The garden will be lit up with pretty lights and a DJ can be arranged where you and your guests can party until 2am.
With a one wedding per day policy, The Legacy guarantees that you and your wedding guests have their full attention, ensuring every detail is meticulously planned. From wedding decorations, wedding menus not to mention being pampered with your hair and make-up before saying “I do” in the pretty gardens, to dancing the night away with your guests, it will be the wedding day to remember.

Our specialists will be able to give you a much clearer idea of price once you have discussed your requirements with them, and will work closely with you to stick to your budget.
Our Cyprus wedding experts know the location well and can answer any questions you might have. Once you’ve chosen the perfect venue, the booking process begins. Our specialists will work with you through every step and add any extras on for you, so you won’t need to worry about a thing.
You can choose between a Catholic, Anglican or Civil wedding in Cyprus. For the former, your Catholic ceremony must be preceded by a civil wedding ceremony in order to be legally binding in the UK. Additionally, one of you must be Catholic, both of you must be baptised in a Christian church and neither of you may be divorced.
The Anglican Church, however, will accept divorcees, although at least one of you must have been baptised as a Christian.
Civil ceremonies are modern and practical. You will be issued with a marriage certificate immediately after the ceremony, which is recognised worldwide.

If you’re getting married in the hotter months, you might want to avoid bulky, heavy dresses and thick makeup. Take a look at the average temperatures for the time of year you are getting married and be sensible with your attire choices.
Marriages performed in Cyprus are legally binding and internationally recognised. Procedures aren’t particularly complex, which is why the destination is so popular for weddings. Below are the important legalities you need to know to ensure your Cyprus wedding runs as smoothly as possible.
There is a minimum residency period of three working days, meaning, if you are having a hotel ceremony, you must stay at the hotel for at least three days prior to your wedding day.
A selection of documents will be required by both the bride and groom, including birth certificates, your passport and a Single Statutory Declaration, which certifies your right to marry. The latter is only available for two months, so make sure you don’t apply for this too early.
