Is it expensive getting married in the Canary Islands?

Canary Islands wedding packages in five-star beachfront hotels are reassuringly affordable. The price will depend on the number of people you need to cater for, however our generous packages for up to 20 people won’t cost you the Earth and will provide you with what you need to ensure everybody has a great time. How do I book a wedding in the Canary Islands?

Can I legally get married in the Canary Islands?

Here’s where things get a little tricky. Unless you or your partner are long term legal residents of Spain, you cannot legally get married in Tenerife or anywhere else in the Canary Islands. We’d recommend getting married in the UK, whereby only 2 witnesses will be required, and then heading over to the Canary Islands to hold a blessing ceremony and reception. Our weddings team will be able to advise you on the best, and most cost effective, course of action.

What’s the best time of year for weddings in Tenerife?

Tenerife benefits from a superb climate all year round. The best time of year for a wedding in Tenerife is probably outside of peak season, so May or September, once UK schools have gone back. Are weddings in Tenerife legally binding?

As only legal residents of Spain can marry in Tenerife legally, we’d recommend having a ceremony at home and then enjoying a reception and blessing on the island. Our tailormade packages will include everything you need to have a wonderful time, but do speak to us about any added extras you’d like to throw in to make the celebration extra special.
