Renewing your wedding vows is much like the first time round, with the couple given an opportunity to reflect on everything they’ve achieved together so far. You can choose the same vows, or completely different ones, it’s up to you.
If you’ve still got them, why not dig out that original wedding dress and suit when renewing your wedding vows for nostalgia’s sake. There’s no need to go overboard and buy another bridal gown, and a beautiful dress and suit – even non-wedding specific- will certainly suffice for your vow renewals.
Technically, you can renew your wedding vows anytime after your actual wedding, so either the next day or 40+ years in the future. Some couples even do it every year! When the time feels right, you’ll know (and that’s when you should give us a call).
Any married couple can renew their vows. And since the ceremony doesn’t have any legal implications, anyone can renew your vows for you – including a close friend or family member.
