Weddings at the Positano Catholic Church

Positano Catholic Church dates back to the 13-century and has an elegant ambiance with its Byzantine mosaics floor, and the beautiful icon of the Black Virgin with a child at the altar, giving your wedding ceremony a romantic Italian feel. The church is full of light with pastel colours of the central nave and a baroque style with marble and golden decors, all adding to the magical feel for a wedding. The Positano Catholic Church can host up to 120 guests and the ceremony is performed by an English-speaking priest, and with catholic weddings only permitted inside the church. To give your wedding that extra special effect, why not have a soprano or organist and the altar decorated to suit your wedding style. Although weddings are not permitted during Easter or local festivities, they are allowed from April until October. The Positano Catholic Church also boasts a unique colourful maiolica roof where you can have some stunning wedding pictures taken.
