Wedding Venue Information

With its very first Beach Rouge you will find sand like sugar for as far as the eye can see, and can spend an entire day catching some rays whilst indulging in the many beach restaurants from the LUX Belle Mare. For a change of scenery, why not take a trip to the hiking trails in Bras d'Eau National Park. Here you can choose from easy to manage trails to challenging hikes through shaded, rocky forest past several small inland lakes. Laying on the rocky remnants of a lava flow and, what was once a sugar mill and small village, the Bras d'Eau National Park is now a lush green forest and home to plenty of wildlife including the endangered Mauritius Paradise Flycatcher. Ten minutes away, you will come across the Roche Noire, a place where many interconnected lava tubes appear on the surface as caves or freshwater springs. These lava tubes are unique and amazing places to explore, containing flowing water in places together with complex sculpted rock formations where the air is cool and the atmosphere is calm.
