A gondola ceremony is a very romantic and unusual experience that you can enjoy only in one of the most romantic cities on earth ... Venice! Venice was built to be appreciated from the water, and taking a gondola also takes you back in time.

Ideal for a vow renewal or a symbolic wedding ... could you imagine something more special than saying or renewing your “I do” and exchanging your vows riding aboard an elegant gondola along the enchanting Venetian canals? From the canals you get to admire the fabulous architecture (some of it not visible by foot) and really appreciate how Venice was built.

You'll glide down the Grand Canal and smaller canals together with your English speaking celebrant for a one hour ride. The gondolier will stop in a picturesque spot for your intimate ceremony and will then continue for a ride along the smaller canals where you can take wonderful pictures! This can also be booked as a surprise proposal and engagement gondola.

The ceremony can be personalized with your personal vows and the exchange of rings.

You’ll pass under romantic bridges and will enjoy a special view from the water of the wonderful Venetian palaces. Such a special way to celebrate your love!

Our special package includes an English speaking Celebrant to perform your ceremony, one hour on the gondola, a lovely bouquet of seasonable flowers , a commemorative certificate and a toast with Prosecco.

Gardone Riviera is an enchanting village situated on the western shore of Lake Garda, a few km north of Salò. Gardone has an elegant lake side promenade with well kept flower beds and pots of colourful plants, Small bars, restaurants, ice cream parlours line the lake front. Worth a visit are the smart shops and the very interesting village church. A short walk uphill and you come to Gardone sopra.

Legalities

To be able to marry in Italy you will need to be resident for 4 days. You will require your full birth certificate and passport as well as other legal documentation depending on your previous marital status.
