Imagine waking up on the morning of your wedding in an elegantly decorated villa with the most amazing views from the grand open sea view window. At Gardenia Villa, this can be your reality, together with the beautiful sea view gardens being decorated to suite your wedding style. At Gardenia Villa you can have both your wedding ceremony and reception in one place with beautifully decorated tables and chairs and of course the flowered arch. The backdrop of the ocean views and surrounding area will be perfect on your wedding pictures and the garden area is large enough to cover large groups of wedding guests and, as it is gated away from the villa, there is extra privacy. Gardenia Villa can be booked for the wedding day alone and it is not compulsory to book the villa overnight. There is a pretty bar area in the garden where pre booked drinks can be enjoyed or with the option of pay as you go. The bride can enter via the rock carved staircase giving a grand entrance to your ceremony and music is allowed in the evening and at a lower volume after midnight where you and your guests can dance in the sunset and under the stars.

1.Where is best in Greece for my wedding?

There is lots of choice in Greece from mainland to the islands.

2.Will they speak English?

As with most locations if the officient does not speak English they will have a translator for you.

3.Is my ceremony legal?

Yes it will be legal as long as you produce the correct paperwork, depending on where in Greece you choose you may have to go to the local town hall to complete the legal part of the ceremony but the symbolic ceremony can be done in the hotel.

4.Can you book all my guests?

Yes we can, let us know who you want to come and we will get it sorted for you.

Legalities

To be able to marry in Greece you will need to be resident for between 7 and 8 days. You will require your full birth certificate and passport as well as other legal documentation depending on your previous marital status. You will require a certificate of no impediment from a solicitor. Once documentation has been obtained they must be sent to the Foreign Office to get an Apostile Stamp, All legal documentation required must be translated into Greek and legalised by the Greek Consulate. This procedure can take time so please make sure you allow plenty of time for this. All information is for guidance purposes and based on british passport holders, couples need to obtain and research there required documentation
