A wander through the Whitewashed Village below the Acropolis, with its winding alleys, cozy cafes, and charming shops will give you a feel of the traditional Greek way of life. How about horse riding, there are tours available and it’s a great way to see the local scenery and even more magical when it is at sunset. Schedule in a day trip to Rhodes town to see the medieval Old Town and the Palace of the Grand Master, both will give you an insight into the history of this fabulous island.

Weddings at the Amphitheater

The staff at the Amphitheater are waiting to hear your wedding plans and ideas so they can help turn them into a reality. With breathtaking views of Lindos, the Acropolis and Lindos Bay, you have an astounding background for your wedding pictures. The pretty ceremony Gazebo, can cater for up to 50 seated guests and includes flowing white curtains and decorated chairs. Opening at 5pm, the Amphitheatre will be ready to receive you and your guests with the ceremony taking place from 5.30pm onwards. For your wedding reception menu, you can choose from the Buffet option or a seated meal option, and the venue is available until 1am and is fully licensed to play music and serve alcoholic beverages, so you and your guests can toast your new marriage and dance the evening away. Private wedding ceremonies are permitted, and an open bar can be arranged for you and your guests.

1.Where is best in Greece for my wedding?

There is lots of choice in Greece from mainland to the islands.

2.Will they speak English?

As with most locations if the officient does not speak English they will have a translator for you.

3.Is my ceremony legal?

Yes it will be legal as long as you produce the correct paperwork, depending on where in Greece you choose you may have to go to the local town hall to complete the legal part of the ceremony but the symbolic ceremony can be done in the hotel.

4.Can you book all my guests?

Yes we can, let us know who you want to come and we will get it sorted for you.

Legalities

To be able to marry in Greece you will need to be resident for between 7 and 8 days. You will require your full birth certificate and passport as well as other legal documentation depending on your previous marital status. You will require a certificate of no impediment from a solicitor. Once documentation has been obtained they must be sent to the Foreign Office to get an Apostile Stamp, All legal documentation required must be translated into Greek and legalised by the Greek Consulate. This procedure can take time so please make sure you allow plenty of time for this. All information is for guidance purposes and based on british passport holders, couples need to obtain and research there required documentation
