Aresti is located on the outskirts of Zante town in the quiet area of Akrotiri. With whitewashed villas surrounded by the lush green palm trees and olive groves, the village has a "back to nature" feel, with an abundance of colourful exotic flowers and green hills, the perfect setting for a wedding destination. Akrotiri is peaceful, romantic and the perfect location if a wedding in Zante is what you are looking for. You can take a walk into Zakynthos Town, passing the Venetian Aqueduct on the way. The beach of Tsilivi is also a short walk where you can spend the day relaxing on the golden sand. The coastline is filled with dramatic rock formations edging out into the blue sea. There are a handful of family-run local tavernas and bars, with plenty more on offer nearby in Zante, where you will find many more bars and restaurants.
If you are looking for a wedding venue that has a tranquil feel together with a rustic theme that includes stone archways, lush gardens with colourful flowers and intimate balconies, then the Aresti is your dream location come true. Set across several levels and with a vintage feel, the Aresti offers a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, where your guests can watch as you say "I do". Alternatively, you can take your vows in the small quaint private church located in the estate of Agios Dimitrios, giving that authentic Greek feel to your wedding ceremony. The pretty surroundings make a fantastic backdrop for your wedding photographs. The reception area is set back in the forest, a truly rustic yet elegant setting where you and your guests can feast on a laid-back barbeque, a classic Greek mezze or a full three-course meal. You can choose from small round tables with cast iron vintage style armchairs that seat 6 people or larger round tables with dressed chairs seating 10 people. A top table, round tables and horse-shoe tables with dressed chairs are also provided, and the staff will cater to the wedding style you choose. In the cooler months, there is an inside reception venue that caters to up to 60 people.
A wedding at the Aresti is truly a magical affair, a fairy tale setting where nature meets elegance. You can choose to arrive in style to your waiting guests on your wedding day. The Aresti has a choice of menus from fun BBQs to three-course meals, and you and your guests can celebrate your special day dancing on the terrace whilst the sun is setting. There are nearby hotels where you and your guests can stay.
