Weddings at the Grand Pineapple

Located on a secluded and stunning white sand beach, Pineapple Beach Club Antigua overlooks the turquoise waters of Long Bay, on the north-eastern coast of Antigua. Set on 25 acres of tropical greenery the resort offers absolute seclusion and privacy. The 500 meter white sand beach is ideal for water sports lovers, sun worshipers or families with young children who can play all day by the water. Just 30 minutes away from the airport and St. John’s, Antigua’s capital, the resort is close to the island’s busy areas but far enough away to offer its guests an ideal combination of privacy and activity.

  • Single – A declaration is signed within Antigua and Barbuda

  • Divorced – Original Decree Absolute which includes the seal of the court where the Decree was issued

  • Widow/Widower – Marriage Certificate and Death Certificate of husband/wife

  • Name Change – Certificate which includes of official seal or stamp

  • PROCESS:

  • Whist in resort, a Petition for a Special License Application form is provided for you to complete and sign. A virtual meeting is arranged for you to be interviewed by a representative of the Ministry of Legal Affairs. All applicants must be over the age of 18 years old. If under, then written parental consent must be obtained.
    There is NO waiting time in the country in order to obtain a Special License.
     

  • Arrive in Antigua at least two business days prior to your selected wedding date with your valid passports and original copies of the documents mentioned above.
     

  • Complete the application forms and pay all applicable legal and processing fees. Confirm the date and time for the ceremony with the Marriage Coordinator, book the next available Marriage Officer, and then you are ready to get married!

  • The Wedding Coordinator or a representative the resort will guide you through the process. Two marriage certificates are signed on the day of the wedding. One (1) is your keepsake copy and the other is property of the High Court
