The ceremony is set up on the beach and the wedding takes place at 19.00 when the sun is setting. The guests can then have welcome drinks on the beach next to the ceremony location.

Weddings at the Porto Beach

Right next to the ceremony venue, there is a lovely terrace which is on 3 split levels. The usual option here is to have the cake on the 1^st terrace, the dinner area on the 2^nd and the DJ on the 3^rd for dancing. This depends on the number of guests as the 3 levels can be used in the best ways to suit the number of guests. Music has to go off at midnight.

Weddings at Porto Beach ?

The private beach belongs to the 4* Paradise Bay resort and guests can stay on site. The area is very quiet and if guests are looking for a busier area, the village and beach of Mellieha is just 5 mins away by bus or taxi.

You do not have to stay at the resort to have the wedding on the beach.
